Introduction to Acrylics

When: Tuesdays 9:00am - 11:00am (Classes starting September 9th and running every Tuesday until November 25, 2025) Not including stat holidays. (11 Weeks)

Join Artist Jocelyn Shields in this foundational course in acrylic painting. We will cover the Elements of Art including Line, Shape, Value, Colour, Texture, Space and Form. Jocelyn will help you believe you are an artist. You will gain confidence as you learn skills and paint each weeks. This class is designed to start from the beginning and take you to a point where you will be ready to join our Intermediate class.

Introduction can also just be a refresher if you’ve been out of the game for a while. And the 2.0 can be done if you haven’t done the introduction, you just need to have an understanding of color theory and how acrylics work.
