PAINT FUN AND FAST PAINTINGS WITH MARLA BLACKWELL

Please join me in this fun workshop! You will learn more about blocking in shapes, values, edges, composition etc. We will paint at least 3 small paintings which are no larger than 5 x 7! It is so rewarding and exhilarating to finish a painting in a short time. There will be small boards/canvas to purchase the day of the class. Bring your supplies and you can add what you need the day of class. Make sure you have good brushes!! .

Absolutely no initimidation….all skill levels and mediums are welcome. Don’t miss this one!

Marla's Recommended Supplies

Acrylic—white, cadmium yellow light, cadmium yellow dark, quinacridone magenta, Naphthol red, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue and transparent red iron oxide. My other optional colours are yellow ochre, green gold, cobalt blue hue

Oil — white, cadmium lemon, cadmium yellow light, quinacridone red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue, burnt umber, transparent red iron oxide

Mediums—- for acrylic I use matte ge;l and for oils I use liquin original and gamsol thinner

Professional quality paints is recommended as well as quality brushes. No craft store supplies please!
