Modern Markers: Tattoo Style

Ages 10 – 18

When: July 8 – 10 (Tuesday – Thursday) 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Want to do more with your Artists' Markers? This class will focus on developing blending and layering skills to make your artwork have a more 3-dimensional feel. We will cover how to effectively shade flowers, feathers and much more to create a traditional tattoo style image with a modern twist. Ages 10 – 18, all experience levels welcome.

All students need the following:

E40 or WG00/01 or Brick White PM79 or C00/C01

Micron 03 or 05 or Copic 03 or 05

Bring any colors you'd like to use and try to bring a light, medium and dark value in each color.

Suggested supply list (kits will be available at Paintworks)

10 - 12 Artist quality markers - Copic, Prismacolor, etc. (Alcohol-based) or Tombow (Water-soluble)
